• Frontier School Division Area 3 Field Trip to Ottawa & Montreal:
  Forty-two students from eight of the Area 3 schools traveled to Ottawa and Montreal during the first week of June. The students visited several museums and the Parliament buildings while in Ottawa, then traveled to Montreal to enter the astronaut-training program at the Canadian Space Camp in Laval Quebec. • Wabowden:
  In the spring of 2009, the Mel Johnson School Gardening Project was submitted by Canada to the UN Commission on Sustainable Development and was selected for presentation at the UN in New York City on May 5, 2010. Read more about the presentation here.
