Genealogical and other Historical Data about
Aboriginal Families of Manitoba
Researched by Frontier School Division

Over the years, the SS/NS Department of Frontier School Division has undertaken intensive research to develop curricula that illuminates the contribution of aboriginal people to the history and development of Manitoba and Western Canada. In the process, we have collected much genealogical and historical information on aboriginal families, specifically those from Northern Manitoba, that we now want to make freely available to our students, their families, and the community at large.

Frontier Families: Go here to find genealogical and historical information on families that mostly originated in Northern Manitoba. We will add families as we have time to organise the data, so check back from time to time.
