Gibson, Ralph Milton, enlisted in Montreal, Quebec, originally of Petrolia, Ontario. Occupation: student. Military Service: Private, Lance Corporal, Reg. No. 487442, 5th University Co., PPCLI, Attestation Papers. Possible Diary Reference: “Gibson, [C. J. D.] McGahey and myself appointed to rations guard at Neuville St. Vaast,” 4:8 Nov ’16. R. M. Gibson joined the PPCLI in the field on 9 June 1916. He was killed at Vimy Ridge on 9 April 1917.
