Watson, Henry George, enlisted at Ottawa, Ontario, originally from Jedburgh, Scotland. Occupation: Carpenter. Military Service: Private, Reg. No. 638, PPCLI. Attestation Papers. Diary Reference: “[A. H. S.] Beach [Beech], [Herbert L.] Chappel[l], [H. G.] Watson and myself volunteered,” 3:16 Sep ’16. According to Hodder-Williams, 357, Pte. Watson was gassed on 26 May 1915, but recovered, and was struck off strength 14 October 1917.
