Harry Alexander Finlayson

Finlayson, Harry Alexander, Regina, formerly of Glencoe, Ontario. Occupation: traveller. Military Service: Private, Lance Corporal: Reg. No. 475843 (McGill 1070), 3rd University Co., PPCLI, Attestation Papers. Diary References; None certain. There is a slight possibility that Frank’s diary references 3:17 Jun ’16 and 3:27 June ’16 refer to him, particularly if he were wounded so slightly that it went unrecorded, but J. K. Finlayson is more likely. According to Hodder-Williams, 173, L/Cpl. H. A. Finlayson was killed near Regina Trench on 8 October 1916.

Date of Death: 8 October 1916. See casualty details, Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Memorialised at the Vimy Memorial, Vimy, Pas de Calais, France.
