Additional Biographical Information

Pte. Errol Stewart Bell, a bank clerk before the war, enlisted with the 2nd University Company in June 1915. After he arrived in France and joined the PPCLI, he fought at the battles of Sanctuary Wood and Flers-Courcelette, where he was wounded 15 September 1916. Pte. Bell, not yet 22 years of age, was killed at the Battle of Passchendaele on 30 October 1917.
