No. 552864, 13th Canadian Mounted Rifles [C.M.R.], transferred to PPCLI, Attestation Papers. Diary Reference: “This morning [A. I.] Abbott and I went fishing for frogs also rabbit hunting,” 6:21 Mar ’18. According to Hodder-Williams, 92, Pte. Abbott was struck off strength on 13 December 1918.
