Angel, Harold Sandford, Ottawa, Ontario. Military Service: Private, Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa. Reg. No. C/21411. Shot to death on 9 June 1944 at 2nd Battalion Headquarters, Moulin Farm, Le Mesnil-Patry, on the order of SS Lieutenant Colonel Wilhelm Mohnke, Commander, 26th Panzer Regiment, 12th SS Panzer Division, “Hitler Youth”. Pvt. Harold Angel was a son of Thomas and Jessie Angel and was married to Elsie Myrtle Angel, all of Ottawa, Ontario.
