Davis, Wellington Roy, Togo, Saskatchewan, formerly Lindsay, Ontario. Occupation: Butcher. Military Service: Private, Reg. No. 718486, 107th Canadian Pioneer Battalion, Attestation Papers. Possible Diary Reference: “Davis and I had a walk to the Y.M.,” 26 April 1918. This Davis is one of two men known to have been with the 107th Canadian Pioneers. W. R. Davis did not transfer to the 1st Battalion, Canadian Engineers, on 28 May 1918, so it is likely he went instead to either the 2nd or 3rd Canadian Engineers.
