Miss Clara Munn

Munn, Miss Clara, Pianoforte Teacher

According to the M.A.C. Gazette, “Miss Clara Munn was born at Portage la Prairie, and was at one time one of our Prof. S. C. Lee’s scholars. She early evinced a love for music, and for some years came to Winnipeg to study pianoforte under Ernest Kitchen, who has himself received his musical training in Leipzig, and has produced many good pianists. A year ago her parents came to Winnipeg, and she was appointed assistant teacher at the Kitchen School of Pianoforte; also gave a recital, receiving very good comments from the critics. This year she has come as visiting pianoforte teacher to us, and has already proved that she is very thorough in her work, and has made many friends.”
