Miss Lillian R. Brown

 

Brown, Miss Lillian R., B.A., Department of English (1913-1914)

Miss Brown graduated in Modern Languages from Manitoba College in 1909. After leaving college, she taught for a year at a rural school in Saskatchewan, then returned to Winnipeg and took Normal School training, after which she worked for two years at the Souris High School. In addition to her professional qualifications, she was also an experienced public speaker and musician. She assumed her duties in the Department of English at the college in the fall of 1913.
