Bridge, Jas. H., B.S.A. (1913), Demonstrator, Field Husbandry (1913-1914); Assistant in Field Husbandry, 300 Administration Building (1914-1915)
James H. Bridge, of Battleford, Sask., entered M.A.C. in the fall of 1908 and graduated in 1913. He was a good student and convincing speaker, who took part in many college debates, qualities that got him employment with the Saskatchewan while still a student “both as stock judge at fairs and as a lecturer on the weed problem.” During his final year, he was “assistant librarian and assistant in the Field Husbandry Department of the college, but regardless of this extra work throughout the entire course he won first class honors and always remained near the top of his class.” Consequently, he was hired after graduation by the college as an assistant in the Field Husbandry Department.
