Military Service: Lieutenant, Captain, 5th University Co., PPCLI, Attestation Papers. Diary Reference: “On fatigue in forenoon making dug-outs for Lt. [G. G.] Reynolds, who by the way comes from Biggar,” 3:6 Oct ‘16. According to Hodder-Williams, Capt. Reynolds was wounded 29 October 1917 and struck off strength for service in the Khaki University, 25 February 1919.
