Possible Diary Reference: “Also Rennie & Archie Gray sent to La Folie Farm this morning for German bombs,” 4:28 Apr ’17. This identification is uncertain. The other possibility was Pte. A. Rennie, Reg. No 487321. According to Hodder-Williams, 302, Cpl. W. J. Rennie was wounded 23 September 1916, but evidently he recovered and was struck off strength on 20 March 1919 after the war had ended.
