Maclean, Donald, Burnaby, British Columbia, formerly of Valleyfield, Prince Edward Island. Occupation: student, McGill University. Military Service: Sergeant, Lieutenant, Mentioned in Despatches, Reg. No. 411060, 3rd University Company, PPCLI, Attestation Papers. Diary Reference: “Sergts. Louis Robertson, [D.] McLean [Maclean], [J.N.] Edgar and some others are getting commissions in the regiment,” 3:20 Jun ’16; note, 4:7 Dec ‘16. According to Hodder-Williams, 84, Lt. Maclean was wounded 6 December 1916 and later killed at Avion on 5 July 1917.
