Diary References: “At the top of the hill saw [H. A.] Nesbitt, [A. A.] Bremner and Red [R. W.] Wilson who gave me the news,” 6:7 Aug ’18; “Red [R. W.] Wilson wounded almost the last day of the war,”7:30 Nov ’18. According to Hodder-Williams, Pte. Wilson was wounded 10 November 1918 and was struck off strength, 24 November 1918.
