Baskerville, Ernest Charles, Mayfield, Manitoba. Military Service: Rifleman, Royal Winnipeg Rifles. Shot to death on 9 June 1944 at 2nd Battalion Headquarters, Moulin Farm, Le Mesnil-Patry, on the order of SS Lieutenant Colonel Wilhelm Mohnke, Commander, 26th Panzer Regiment, 12th SS Panzer Division, “Hitler Youth”.
