No. 291018, Company B, 107th Canadian Pioneer Battalion; Company C, 1st Battalion, Canadian Engineers, Attestation Papers. Possible Diary Reference: “Couper,” Grain Growers’ Note Pad, 1916-1917, p. 46. There were eighteen men named “Couper” in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces, so Frederick Cooper may not be the correct man.
