Charlton-Salisbury, Mrs. Edith, Professor of Household Science, 405 Administration Building.

A graduate of the Polytechnic of Rochester, New York, in 1904, Mrs. Edith Charlton-Salisbury taught for three years at the Women’s Union Domestic Science College in Buffalo, before moving on to the Iowa Agricultural College in 1907 to take charge of its Home Economics extension work. She also taught in the Summer School of the State University of Virginia. After joining the staff of the Manitoba Agricultural College in the fall of 1911, Prof. Salisbury conducted classes in Household Science and travelled the province in Extension work as well.
